Mmmmmmmm kay.
So Finally I shall let y'all know whats going onnnn!
Well as you know from my beloved sister and the last post I had the Cornerzone/He-Brews coffee shop started and getting a move on.
Welllll....I'd like to show you whats up!

We've had 4 new kids come to know Jesus and pretty much the same amount recommit their life to God! That is so cool. :D Josh has been coming up with Grace to start a Bible study.
I love Grace. I sometimes NEED her. :)

Ok! SO mom wants me to go clean or pretend to be an adult or something! So I can't organize these pictures or take out the bad ones!!
So blame mom but you're just gonna look at all the masses of pictures and wonder who they are.

Yayyyy! I have bunches of great news!! First of all I got a new camera!!!! I'm sooo excited!! :D yay yay yay! Seriously, the day before I left for Iron River I was in wal-mart having the guy go back to get a camera for me! I was gonna buy one! On a whim!! :0 I finally heard a page for me and I snapped out of my sudden terrible idea, told the guy to nevermind and walked away. I started to think of all the things I could use that preciously saved up money on. things that are in dire need! (Such as visiting my sister or all the pressing finances needed for the coffee shop I'm helping to s tart) So everyone and anyone who sees my amazing Uncle Jim family...thank them graciously for me! Tell them I love it and they're amazing. :D Look at it! look at it! Its pink! Its so pretty!!! But speaking of Coffee Shop...yeah. CornerZone is this nice little place three doors down from my house that was already set up as a youth center and has concerts....annnnd is connected with He-Brews coffee and music. (If any of you know about that ;) ) So we had a nice little meeting today and they went through what all of my jobs will be and everything. What they told me I am is a "Head intern" is my name. They said that they want me to be an intern still because they don't know much about me and so they can't put me into leadership. So thats ok huh? My jobs though....are like...a million. Basically I will be running the coffee shop and anythi ng that has to do with coffee. There will be others to deal with the actual venue part of it. But I am running the coffee so they'll need me there for concerts as well. i will be the one hiring people and everything or picking out volunteers. I need to get a lot of things done by next tuesday so they can go over it, show the board and all that good stuff. Things like making a typed copy of what I feel God is calling me to, and when I plan to be working, who I will have working with me, when my plan is to open, and blah blah blah. So. I have a lot of work to do. We went over like...tons of other things and this guy Mike Reynolds who I met a long time ago was there. I was certain when we first met that he had a crush on me, and then he found me on facebook and asked me to share with him my heart on what I hope to do at the coffee shop....over coffee or something. I totally thought he was trying to find a way to ask me out. So when I saw him there today I felt really bad cuz I didn't know he was a part of the cornerzone enough to be a part of our meeting! Like hes one of the people in leadership yo! Oy. I feel a lil stupid. :/ But kinda funny. anyway. Pics of the beautiful place...with my new camera! Introducing Jill! Annnnnd Wilson! These two are heading this opporation and are my go to people. Jill more Than Wilson. Heres the gamer place...I totally set it up Couch and room of many purposes....not yet cleaned out. On that note I shall go. I'd like to show you many more pictures...but first I have to get it cleaned up better. I have a lot of stuff going on. People moving out, me moving in.......theres a lot. This thursday I'll be back in there so yeah. Our tentative opening date is December 2nd. :D Yay! yay yay!

I'm thinking about starting another He-Brews Coffee and Music in Menominee Michigan. I'm only 18 but I strongly feel that God has something amazing planned for me no matter what my age is.
He's been telling me that He's gonna pave a path for me. Hes gonna demolish mountains and make the valleys level to show me the path I'm going. I'm seeing a path with this He-Brews Menominee, but I'm waiting for the "go for it" from God.

When I was thinking about it later I thought "well, we'll be needing a pastor as well." as soon as I thought that I had a picture in my mind of my dad's very good friend who was a paster. He ended up dying, but his son is now with us in He-Brews Iron River. I had an immediate picture of him behind a pulpit. :) It was kinda exciting to me. My only problem is that I'm single. I love being single. But if I were to start a venue there would be musicians my age coming through and I'm rediculously stupid sometimes. So perhaps the Lord will wait for me to be married. Or maybe He has something greater for me planned. I do not know. I'm waiting for those mountains to be leveled. I'm waiting to see the clear path that He is creating.

Prayer Request: that the Lord will show me this path, and teach me how to get there and lead me on that old worn path of righteousness :D

I would first of all recommend everyone to make sure to have more than one blog. Not 0, not 1, maybe two or three.
People like me have multiple personalities! I need one for my family to read, one for Jesus to read, one for me to vent, one for my friends and so on and so forth. I think if God doesn't mind you having more than one than do it! :D
But...BEWARE! For not one thing should be able to take over your life. It is dangerous to be on the computer too much. So dont do it!!

Well.
I still don't have a camera...and mom is doing this new "awesome" thing where she puts all the pictures on her camera into a cd so that nobody has a chance to see them before they're gone!
Isn't it wonderful?

Although we can use the cds whenever...but who HONESTLY is going to go and get a cd, put it in the computer, pull it up from whatever frightening category it may be in, go through the many pictures taken from that cd, find one, and finally use it?
no way.

Soo. all this has been said to say...I need a camera. Everyone will suffer when I do not have a camera. Do you know why? Because I won't be putting any pictures up! Guess what Mike did? He cut his hair! Do you know what he looks like? NO! Why? Because I don't have a camera.

I'm loving this new group of friends I made in Marquette at my mom's church. I like the church too! Last night we went to Taco Bell XD (Of course, where else would we go?)

We left a nice little note for the Taco Bell staff that we got to know quite well :) We took a picture with all of them, but it didn't turn out :( sad.After Taco Belle, we took a trip to Adam's house. He is a fantastic singer! and musician!

I'm having a difficult time with my new facebook and this blogspot. For this, I don't understand how to add friends...or whatever they're called.

Now, mom already showed you this...but I just want you all to know that Renee LOVED it! I let her out once and she ran around for a second and then laid back down to get burried again! She loved it :D and that made me happy. She was the perfect dog at the "no dogs allowed" beach....erson.

Mom and Carlie took me and Mike/Chris on a nice little tado/date.
It was really fun. We had an absolute blast. :D Mom and Carlie made it easy for Mike and I to loosen up and just have fun. We tend to go on stiff, have-to-be-perfect dates...so this was really nice. Now hes talking about going on a picnic date with me sometime and all these nice, light, fluffy dates. :D I yike it.

Hello all!

So I'm still in Chicago, but I'm going home after the Cornerstone Festival. I'm so excited to be going home too. :D

I miss everyone there. I miss you so much!!

I have been having so much fun here! I've enjoyed this place with everything in me. I'm learning a LOT from God as well. The main thing I'm learning is love. Pure, raw LOVE.

I feel like i've been very judgemental my whole life and I'm finally learning that if God isn't bashing someone for their sins, why should I? I don't know them as well as Jesus, so why should I be trying to take His place in speaking to them? Granted, there are times to confront someone--but I think that it should be up to God to tell me when and how. The love has been lost to a lot of people in the church. A lot of people think that if someone is sinning they should be shunned, or told constantly that they are doing wrong. I strongly do not agree with that. So thats mainly what I am learning.

I've been downtown a LOT for many different things. :D I went down there a few times with my friend Mary Alice. She is awesome. I'm using her computer right now as she sleeps...its about 130 right now...oh well. I don't have work in the morning. She is the one--just by her witness--that seems to be teaching me a lot of what I'm learnign. Like LOVE and embroidery, and patience, and just how to have fun! Life is not a drag! People are not a drag! I should learn to love everyone, and if they don't fit my personality and I would rather not hang out with them...I don't have to. I should pray for them, but I don't have to hang out with anyone unless Jesus says so. The catch is that I should LOVE them. I should treat them with the same respect that I would like to be shown. I shouldn't accept the way that they treat me, but I should show them Jesus' love and grace and compassion.

I laughed really hard. I guess it was an answer to prayer because I remember praying that the whole family wouldn't sing in one big group to me at my graduation...so this is WAY better!!!

I'm sorry my graduation was COMPLICATED:) But thats just me.

Although the poll on my site says that I'm more theatrical than complicated...so go figure.

Anyway.

As some of you know, I've moved to Chicago. I am working at a homeless shelter while living in a community called JPUSA (Jesus People USA) I'm really glad I'm here and I feel like Ive been given rest from all that has happened.

Living here and working at the shelter isn't really what I was expecting. It's not like I'm spiritually shot at people everywhere (or physically shot at) but I also don't feel like it's a vacation from the ministry. This place isn't a missions trip its...a way of life. Its like I am living a normal life. I'm doing chores, working, cleaning my room and so on. This is the way that people here live. Its not some battle field where we're out on the streets everyday doing skits and bake-give-aways. Needless to say, it is a homeless shelter and we are all christians (mostly) so we are all-together moving toward the same goal.

I am really enjoying my time here and I don't even know why. I feel like God is enjoying me here too. I've been making more and more friends slowly, and I've been invited to a LOT of "get together" things. Whether its watching a movie, going out to eat, or going to a party (Non-alcoholic)

I was just given a buddy named Bethany. Her job is to be there for me. To hang out with me and to help me with my spiritual walk. She is to show me around the place, answer my questions, and talk with me. She is exactly the type of person I was hoping to have for my buddy. She and I have a lot in common. She is 24 and just got married in October. She hangs out with the same people that I found myself wanting to hang out with back at home. she seems to have the same lifestyle that I was hoping to live myself. I am very happy that the house chose her as my buddy.

The house (JPUSA) does have to know what my plans are for the summer and my future. I've kind of changed them more than I was expecting. I was actually thinking of staying for the whole summer, but that was turning out to be difficult to work out with my schedules that I had to have for NMU. That college was becoming increasingly further from my heart.

When I had finally decided to go there, I was really disappointed because I was expecting God to lead me through my next step in life, but He never said anything. I've always seen NMU for myself in a certain way; I would go there because God hasn't decided to lead me somewhere yet. Either that, or I wasn't listening to His calling. It was difficult because I felt like God was allowing me to be a leaf blown in the wind, led by whatever direction took me. I believe in God. He knows whats best for me. Should He not put his say in for my life?

This really got me down, but I tried to make the best of it and be happy and excited for college--even though I didn't know what I was going to major in.

When I got here, I spoke to God about my situation with NMU. I told Him how I felt and asked Him what He thought.

Here in JPUSA God is runnning rampant. but on the streets, He is not even noticed. Why would He be? The city is made by man! Even His stars are covered by the city. I tried to talk with a man on the L-train about God. He was a good example of how these people are and live. It wasn't that he was hard toward Christ, but that Hes not important. Life takes over so much that He never even comes up as a passing thought. This was a good point that he made. I wan to be someone who can bring God up in the people's minds. I want to remind the people of the way they're living and how they must be missing something. Why do these people wake up every day? WHat good are they to this earth? What is their purpose?

This is why I have decided to stay. Although NMU can offer me skills that I may use maybe one day, here in Chicago, I am offered a thousand chances a day to lead someone to Christ and give them a true meaning of life. I have prayed and asked the Lord for direction and He has made it clear that I must stay. Please pray for me in my mission to reach these completely lost people. I am very excited to be a part of this. I love you all. Thank you for your gifts, love, support and prayer. I hope to see you all visiting sometime!

What is the story of The Song? Not a song or even this song but THE SONG.

THE SONG began in 2001, at Grandma's 70th Birthday Party. She was gifted with a new and improved version of "The Brady Bunch," tailor made to describe Grandma's large and still growing family.

In July, Uncle Ken and Aunt Cheryl were married -- and serenaded with "Gilligan's Island." This song had been picked out by...you guessed it...Uncle Norm! Yes, it was Uncle Norm who saw fit to pull the strings behind the scenes, pick a song, and thus the song tradition was further established. With a little help from lesser known aunts and uncles, this song became the story of Uncle Ken's life -- with Cheryl stranded on Shomo Island.

But that wasn't enough to cement THE SONG into a tradition and the stuff of Shomo lore. (And Oglesby, Saber, and Woolley lore...) The next THE SONG would do this. Can you name that song?
